Love Fraud, Abusive Dating and Sociopaths – Vital Information for Education Professionals

Love fraud is really scary stuff. But here’s the good news: Love fraud is totally avoidable, IF you know what to look for. So I love teaching people how to spot and avoid love fraud. I know that just a little bit of education can make a tremendous difference in someone’s life.

Especially for young people.

I am thrilled to announce that my program, Love Fraud, Abusive Dating and Sociopaths, is now available in the Lovefraud Continuing Education course catalog. This webinar is for education professionals – or anyone, for that matter – who wants teenagers to know that social predators live among us, how they behave, and how to avoid them.

The program was originally presented live to the New Jersey Association of Student Assistance Professionals; the webinar is a video recording, almost an hour and a half long.

As I said, I love teaching people about sociopaths, so I am pretty animated in front of this group. The counselors who attended were engaged and asked a lot of good questions, which are captured in the recording. Not only is this course valuable, but it is enjoyable.

During the presentation I briefly mention Lovefraud’s research, in which I discovered proof that people who become involved with sociopaths at a young age suffer far more harm than those who encounter them later in life. This research was presented to the Society for the Scientific Study of Psychopathy. As part of this course, you also get a PDF of the research poster with all the statistics. It has never been made available before.

This course offers 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for education professionals. Please verify with your supervisor that the credits are accepted by your licensing board. For more information, click here.
